Discuss, consider and/or take action to authorize the County Judge to execute contracts for placement of juveniles at non-secure facilities by the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice center for the period of October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018. This action supersedes the action taken August 28, 2017, agenda item #15, following the Texas Department of Juvenile Justice's change in the Intense Level of Care rate from $260.95 to $277.37 per client per day.

Consider and approve out of state travel for Chris Eppler to Glynco, Georgia for training on ATF certified explosives.
Consider and authorize the purchase of food and beverages with County credit cards for the Office of Dispute Resolution training sessions, workshops, and meetings.
Consider and approve the adoption of the 2017 Commercial and Industrial Guidelines and Criteria Governing Tax Abatement within Lubbock County, Texas.
Consider and approve Personnel Committee recommendations for FY2018 additional staffing needs.
Report on the status of County Road Projects, Department Staffing, Training and Safety, unpaved and paved road maintenance, TxDOT and City of Lubbock projects, signs, parks, and fleet management report.
